Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 24th September, 2008 at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following posts on the adhoc research project entitled "Assement and Validation of Body Composition using Different Techniques and Development of Regression Models in Indian Population"
a DST project at this institute. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are under
1. Junior research Fellow (1 post)
Educational Qualification : MSc Life Sciences/MSc in Nutrition/Human Physiology/Biochemistry as a subject / MD in Physiology/Biochemistry.
Desirable : i) NET/GATE qualified candidates preferred.
ii) exceptional cases without NET/GATE may also be selected.
AGE : 30 years. Relaxation of age is allowed for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI rules.
Stipend: Rs 12,000/- + 30% HRA pm
Tenure : 3 Years
2. Field Assistant ( 1 post UR)
Educational Qualification : 1st class BSc Home Science (Food and Nutrition)/ BSc Life Sciences
AGE : 25 years. Relaxation of age is allowed for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI rules.
Consolidated pay : Rs 7,400/- pm fixed without any allowances.
Tenure : 3 Years
Candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and set of Xerox copies duly attested while attending the Interview.
General Conditions: of employment will be the same as for the project staff (on contract basis) for the entire tenure of the project and no other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidate will not have any right to claim for regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
