1. Candidates are requested to fill in separate Application Form for each discipline.

2. Candidates are requested to fill in the Application Form in al respects. Duly filed in Application Forms can be submitted

by Registered Post o Section Officer (Admissions), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi -1067 or in person

in Rom No. 28, Administrative Block of the University on or before 15th October, 2014. CANDIDATES ARE REQUESTED

NOT TO SEND THEIR APPLICATION FORMS THROUGH PRIVATE COURIER SERVICES;

3. Before filing in the Application Form, please make sure that you fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements as prescribed

by the University for Direct admission to Ph.D. programme;

4. Candidates are required to enclose Demand Draft drawn in favor of JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY payable at NEW

DELHI as per the following rates towards cost of application form and processing fees with the Application Form:

For General and OBC Category : Rs.420/- (Rs.20/- for cost of application form + Rs. 20/- for  processing fee)

For candidates belonging to SC/ST and Physically Challenged (PH) Category : Rs.310/- (Rs.20/- for cost of application form + Rs. 10/- for  processing fee)

For candidates belonging to BPL Category : Rs.10/- for processing fee

For Foreign National candidates : Rs.1750/- (Rs.20/- for cost of application form + Rs. 150/ - for processing fee)

Last date for submission of duly filed in Application Forms:  For Winter Semester: 15th October, 2014

(Before submitting the application form to admission in winter semester please check the Schools/Centres where the admission is to be made in the winter semester)
