Position of JRF/SRF in Botany
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for one post of Junior/Senior Research Fellow (JRF/SRF) in the CSIR Emeritus Scientist Scheme entitled ‘Vetiver grass and Chrysopogon species complex – cytotaxonomical and molecular characterization, and identification of vetiver ideotype for environmental application’ sanctioned to Dr U. C. Lavania, DSc, FNA tenable at the Department of Botany, University of Lucknow.
Emoluments shall be commensurate with the prevailing rates of CSIR applicable to appointments in ES Scheme.
The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the scheme.
For JRF, the candidate must be M.Sc. in Botany/ Plant Sciences with at least 55% marks and passed NET/GATE examination; for SRF, the candidate must have two years research experience.
Upper age limit for JRF/SRF is 28/32 years respectively, relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/woman/physically handicapped candidates. Hard signed copy of the application on plain paper giving bio-data along with qualifications/experience, percentage of marks obtained at UG and PG level supported with attested documents, also providing e-mail ID/phone number for quick contact, should reach on or before 1 June 2015 to Dr Umesh C.
