Applications are invited for one Project Fellow (purely temporary) in a major research project entitled “Screening and molecular characterization of salt and temperature tolerant nitrogen fixing root nodule bacterial strains isolated from native legumes of Indian Thar desert” sponsored by UGC, Govt. of India for the period of three years from 1st July, 2015.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology with minimum of 55% marks.

Research experience of handling microbial cultures and its molecular characterization will be preferred.

The candidate should be below the age of 40 years. Fellowship: Rs. 14000/- per month fixed (Non-GATE/Non-NET) or Rs. 16000/- per month fixed (GATE/NET).

Appointment will be made initially for six months only and will be continued on satisfactory performance till the completion of the project.
