Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Belagavi invites applications in given format from eligible candidates upto 14.08.2015 for the purely temporary contractual (project) post of Research Associate for the ICMR funded project on “Production of shikimic acid from in vitro cultures of selected medicinal plants from Western Ghats”
1. Post: Research Associate – One post
Essential Qualifications: Doctorate in Plant Sciences/Botany/Biotechnology (Candidates those who have submitted their thesis may also apply)
Desirable:
(1) Experience in plant tissue culture, especially hairy root culture/cell suspension culture/ callus culture
(2) Working experience with plant secondary metabolites and analytical instrumentations such as HPLC and HPTLC Age: Not exceeding 40 years. Age relaxation will be given for deserving candidates.
Salary: Rs. 36000/- pm (consolidated) + 7200/- HRA.
