ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/PROJECT FELLOW
Applications are invited for the recruitment of one post of Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow under project entitled “An integrated approach for the development of microwave system for pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass for celluloytic enzymes and ethanol production” funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, New Delhi. The duration of the project is for three years. The details of the post and its minimum are as follows:
1. Junior Research Fellow/ Project Fellow: One position
2. Emoluments: JRF Rs.16,000/ + HRA for the 1st two years and Rs 18,000/- +HRA for the 3rd year for SRF and applicable only if JRF/SRF is NET/DBTBET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall be Rs 14,000/- +HRA only for the 1st two years (for JRF) and Rs 16,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year (for SRF).
3. The candidates must possess minimum 55% marks in M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology and allied subject with good academic records.
Preference will be given to candidates having demonstrated experience in the related research.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
The other terms and conditions prescribed for JRF by DBT, Government of India will be applicable. The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the Administrative rules/ service conditions of the University/DBT.
