Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before selection committee on 15.10.15 at 11.00am, in the room of HOD, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata- 700019, for a walk - in – interview for a major project under the guidance of Dr. Ruma Pal.

Project Title- Mapping Sunderbans Algae for CO2 sequestration with special emphasis on brackish water wetlands “ funded by DST, Govt. of India.

Project Tenure – 1 yr.

No. of Post – One JRF.

Emoluments – as per Govt. rules.

Essential qualification –M.Sc. in Botany with NET/GATE qualified Experience in handling algae in Laboratory and field condition would be preferred.

Candidates willing to appear in the interview must bring
