Walk-in-interview
A walk-in-interview will be held on 24th November 2015 at 10.30 AM at MBBT department, Tezpur University for One (01) temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DBT sponsored project entitled “Role of Non-Canonical Function of Ribosomal Proteins in Inflammation” under Dr. Rupak Mukhopadhyay, Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in any branches of Biological sciences with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
Candidates with NET/GATE/BET/BINC will be preferred.
Desirable: Some laboratory experience in cell biology and/or molecular biology. Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only + HRA as admissible will be applicable to NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified candidate. Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only + HRA as admissible for other candidate. HRA will not be provided if campus accommodation is availed.
Duration: Till completion of the project (February 2017) or until further notice, whichever is earlier.
Age: Candidate should not be more that 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST /OBC /Women / Physically Challenged. Please produce your original age proof, marks sheets and certificates of examinations 12th standard onwards, certificates of NET/GATE/BET/BINC or similar examination qualifications and any other testimonials on the day of interview.
Interested candidates may send their CV to the PI through Email by 20th November, 2015. However, this is not mandatory. N.B. This is a purely temporary position. It is not a Tezpur University position and will not confer any right to the incumbent to claim implicit or explicit on any position. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding in all aspects.
