Applicationsare invited for position of One Senior Research Fellow in ICAR project entitled “Delineating Beta Casein Variants inIndian Cows and Potential Health Implications of A1A2 Milk" as per details given below:
Senior Research Fellow: One
Essential Qualifications: MSc degree in any one of disciplines: Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Neuroscience or allied subjects supported by Master Thesiswith 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Preference would be given to candidates who have qualified NET examination/GATE/ICMR/PU entrance test.
Desirable: Working experience in Animal handling/molecular biology techniques, geneexpression/microarray data analysis, mammalian cell-culture handling, etc.
Emoluments: As per ICAR guidelines
Date and Time of Interview: February 2, 2016 at 11.30 am.

Applications are invited for two positions of Project Fellows sanctioned by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi under the SAP (DRS-II) program with one each in the following thrust areas:
Molecular mechanisms in Neurodegeneration & Neuroprotective strategies
Cell Signalling and immune mechanisms in pathophysiology of diseases
Qualifications/Eligibility: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with at least 55% marks. Candidates enrolled/registered or eligible for enrolment/registration for Ph.D. in the subject of Biochemistry as per the P.U. guidelines and have passed entrance test of Panjab University or ICMR/CSIR-UGC/GATE JRF Examination are eligible.
Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/- pm (fixed) plus HRA (for non UGC/CSIR/GATE qualified candidates) Rs. 16,000/- pm (fixed) plus HRA (for UGC/CSIR/GATE qualified candidates)
Duration: Initially for I year (extendable to 5 years)
Applications on a plain paper giving detailed Bio-Data with attested copies of certificates/degrees should reach the undersigned on or before 29.01.2016 till 5.00 pm.

The selected candidate shall be entitled to the fellowship only after the approval by the UGC. Position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the grant.
