Training Programme on Insect and Mite Taxonomy

Under the ICAR funded Niche Area of Excellence Project on Capacity Building in Taxonomy of Insects and Mites, the following training programmes are being organized.

NAE 01 Taxonomy of Insects and Mites 2–22 March 2016
NAE 02 Taxonomy of Leafhoppers 22–27 February 2016
NAE 03 Taxonomy of Phytophagous Mites 23–20 February 2016

The training programmes are open to teachers in State Agricultural Universities who are engaged in teaching and research in Insect Systematics. Applications from entomologists working in ICAR and other institutes and colleges/universities are also welcome.

Completed application/s should reach the organizers on or before 10 February 2016.

Selected candidates will be intimated by 15 February 2016.
