1. Scientist 'C' ONE (Reserved for OBC)

Scale of Pay: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade pay Rs.6600/-

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL: MBBS & MD Degree recognized by MCI with four-year experience in the relevant subject.

OR
1st class Master's Degree & Ph.D.in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Applied Biology / Genetics with four years experience.

OR

2nd class Master's Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology / Microbiology, Biochemistry / Genetics / Applied Biology with Ph.D. in relevant subject With 4 years Research, experience

DESIRABLE: 1. M.D.Pathology from Recognised University with experience In Immunohaematology / Transfusion Medicine from Recognized University.

2. Additional post doctoral Research / Teaching experience in Haematology / Immunohaematology/ Molecular Biology / HLA Immunogenetics / Cell culture / Immunology.

3. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: To carry out research in the area of Haematology / Transfusion Transmitted Diseases/ Hemoglobinopathies/Immunology.

AGE: Not exceeding 40 years.

2. Scientist 'B' ONE (Reserved for S.T.)

Scale of Pay: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade pay Rs.5400/-

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL: MBBS Degree recognized by MCI with Two years experience.

OR

1st class Master's Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Applied Biology / Genetics.

OR

2nd class Master's Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology / Microbiology, Biochemistry / Genetics / Applied Biology with Ph.D. in relevant subject with two year experience

DESIRABLE:To carry out research in the area of Haematology / Transfusion Transmitted Diseases/Hemogloinopatuies/ Immunology.

AGE: Not exceeding 35 years Relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants and for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard. However, the prescribed age may be further relaxed in exceptional cases for experienced & qualified candidates. One time age relaxation is allowed to Scientific and Technical staff working in long term projects in ICMR Institute/Centres for posts advertised under HRSC,2007 provided they meet the essential qualifications and experience for the post with a view to provide them an opportunity to compete with other candidates as per Council's letter No.6/1/2007-AdmnII dated 28.3.2011.
