A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 30th June, 2016 at 11.30 A.M. in the Seminar Room, Division of Plant Biology, Centenary Campus, Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for one position of Senior Research Fellow in the ICAR(NFBSFARA) sponsored sub-project entitled "Development of pod borer resistant transgenic pigeonpea and chickpea" under Prof. Sampa Das, P.I. and Prof. Debabrata Basu, Co-P.I., Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 31.03.2017. Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows :

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. Degree in any branch of Life Sciences with NET qualification and two years research experience as Junior Research Fellow.

Fellowship : Rs.28,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA except CSIR-UGC NET-LS. Rs. 14,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for CSIR-UGC NET-LS* * Payment of revised fellowship to CSIR-UGC NET-LS is under consideration of the Government.

Age : Below 30 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only, as per rule)

Eligible and Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Sr. Prof. & In-Charge, Registrar’s Office, Bose Institute, P-1/12 C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards with attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets and testimonials. The Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates, testimonials etc. at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
