Description:

Applications are invited for the Ph.D. position in the Lab of Genetic Engineering, Department of Biotechnology, Daegu University, South Korea. We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate committed to research in natural products. The candidate will be involved in multidisciplinary, collaborative projects investigating and characterizing natural products and their biological activities focusing on anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activities at molecular levels.

Eligibility:

Ideally, the candidate should be self-motivated, have a Master’s degree awarded on or not before 2016 in biotechnology or Life Science with minimum 60 % marks (CGPA 6.5/10). Applicants should have a strong background in cellular and molecular biology. A demonstrated record of academic and scientific accomplishment evidenced by strong work ethic and intellectual commitments to the individual research project are essential. The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and stellar communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English.
