Applications are invited for the following purely project-based posts under the DST funded project “National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE)”-Task Force-5: Network Programme on Convergence of Traditional Knowledge Systems for Sustainable Development in the Indian Himalayan Region, and for Task Force -3: Forest Resources and Plant Biodiversity; and MoEFCC funded project “Ecosystem Services in Changing Biodiversity State: A Comparative Study of Western and Eastern Himalayan Forest Stands”.

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for NMSHE TF 03- 01 No. [Emoluments: @ Rs 16,000/- fixed per month + HRA (10%) for NET (JRF) qualified persons only or Rs 12,000/- fixed per month + HRA (10%) for Non- NET (JRF) qualified persons]

Age: 28 years maximum

First Class Masters degree in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Ec ology/ Environmental Sciences /Life sciences, etc. Physically fit to work in the HR.

3. Junior Research Fellow for MoEFCC funded project-01 No. [Emolument @Rs. 25,000/- fixed per month +HRA (10%) for NET/GATE qualified persons only or @ Rs. 16000/- per month +HRA (10%) for NonNET/GATE qualified persons]

First class Master degree in Botany/Ecology/ Forestry/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences, etc. Extensive ecological work in the forest areas especially in the HR; Physically fit to work in the HR.
