Advertisement for RA/SRF/JRF Position

Applications are invited from suitable candidate for filling up only one Research Associate (RA)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the CSIR funded scheme entitled “Screening, Isolation and Identification of Novel Antimicrobial Compounds from Potential Mangroves of Goa”.

Eligibility criteria:

RA: PhD degree in any stream of Life Sciences with experience of working on natural compounds or microbes.

SRF: (i) ME, MTech or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology (ii) MSc, BE, BTech, BVSc, BPharm, or equivalent degree, and at least two years of post MSc, BE, BTech, BVSc, BPharm, research experience, as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals.

JRF: BS 4 years programme/BPharm/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test

Fellowship amount: Rs. 36000 per month for RA, Rs. 14000 per month for SRF and Rs. 12000 per month for JRF.

Note: Only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for personal interview to be held at BITS-Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus and no TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Selected candidate (JRF/SRF) may be encouraged to register for Ph.D. program of BITS, Pilani subject to the fulfillment of the Institute requirement.
