Research Associate (RA) – 4

 

DBT sponsored project entitled “Multi-dimensional Research to Enable Systems Medicine : Acceleration using a Cluster Approach’ at Kalyani, West Bengal” under The Director, Bose Institute (Co-ordinator) in the following areas of specialization:

 

i) Chemical Biology,

ii) Cancer Biology,

iii) Computational Biology and

iv) Structural Biology.

 

Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in a relevant field of Biology / Chemistry Research Experience :

 

i) Chemical Biology: Experience in working in the interface between biology and chemistry

 

ii) Cancer Biology: Experience in working in Cancer Biology / Cancer stem cell Biology

 

iii) Computational Biology: Experience in Unix, computer programming and use of molecular simulation / Bioinformatics packages with interpretation of data

 

iv) Structural Biology: Experience in working in X-ray crystallography, Cryo-electron microscopy or spectroscopy focussed on structural biology

 

Associateship : Rs. 36,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical Benefit.

 

Age Limit : Below 35 Years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).

 

Note : Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply; they may be considered as Extended SRF. (Fellowship : Rs. 28,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical Benefit and Age Limit : Below 33 Years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
