Essential: Ph. D. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Life Sciences or
M.Sc. in Microbiology /Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Life Sciences with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training / other engagements. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have N.E.T. qualification* and at least two years of research experience. Rs. 40000/- (fixed) + HRA for Doctoral Degree Holders and Rs.38000/- (fixed) + HRA for Master Degree Holders

Desirable:
1. Experience in isolation and molecular characterization of soil microorganisms; soil enzymes and molecular markers of soil health.
2. Good knowledge of advanced instrumental soil chemical and biological analysis, laboratory and field work, computers, data analysis, report preparation.
