We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Research Fellow to join the ICMR funded project
Effect of timing of insertion of puerperal Intrauterine contraceptive device CuT380A on expulsion rates.
It is an 18 months project under adhoc research scheme funded by ICMR to be conducted in Obstetrics
and Gynecology department of JIPMER, Puducherry. Dr. Gowri Dorairajn is the principal investigator
and Dr. P.Veena is the co-investigator.
A keen interest in clinical research in hospital out patient setting, good communication skill in tamil and
English language and previous research experience are essential. S/he should have an excellent
scientific track record, committed to a scientific career and should have basic computer knowledge
about data entry and analysis.
Essential: Master Degree (M.Sc.) in : Zoology/Bio-informatics/ Biotechnology/Microbiology/
Physiology/Human Biology/Psychology/Sociology/Socialwork or Statistics.
Desirable: One or two years’ research experience clinical surveys/ health education /social work or
related discipline.
Candidates with NET/ CSIR/ UGC/ICMR etc. will be given more preference.
You should have the upper age limit of 28 years as on the last date of application.
