A walk in interview will be held at Division of Pathology, Indian Veterinary Research
Institute, Izatnagar, U.P. on 27th June, 2017 at 11.00 a.m. for engagement of one Sr. Research
Fellow in the committee room of Pathology Division under Emeritus Scientist Scheme
“Development of Pen-side diagnostic test/kit for the diagnosis of Marek’s disease in poultry”. The
appointment is purely on temporary and contractual basis for two and half years i.e. up to
31.01.2020, and co-terminus with the project and will be liable for termination at any time in case of
the unsatisfactory performance of the candidate. There will be no provision for absorption/reemployment
in ICAR/IVRI after termination of the time bound under the mentioned project. No
TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.

Qualification
Essential qualification:
Master's Degree in Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Bacteriology and Virology,
Veterinary Public Health, Microbiology, Animal Biotechnology with 4 years / 5 years of
Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science.
Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic
Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET
qualification/equivalent examination

description
Experience of working in the areas of Molecular biology like DNA Extraction from field
materials, PCR and RT-PCR, cloning and expression of recombinant proteins, Western
blot technique, ELISA, latex agglutination assay and knowledge of Computer operations.
Age limit Candidate’s upper age limit is 35 years for males and 40 years for females on the date of
interview, relaxation for ST/SC/OBC/Females as per rules.
The candidates need to submit the duly filled application on the day of interview (as per the format annexed).
