Application for 1 post of Junior Research fellow for a DST funded project is
invited.
Project Title:
“Role of Genomic Biomarkers in predicting prophylactic response to Lithium
in Paediatric-onset Bipolar Disorder”
funded by Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and
Technology, Government of India.
Principal Investigator:
Dr Preeti Kandasamy, Department of Psychiatry.
Co-investigators:
Dr Steven A Dkhar, Department of Pharmacology.
Dr Sandhiya S, Department of Clinical pharmacology.
Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree in life sciences, Biotechnology,
MLT, M.Tech (Biotechnology) with NET qualification and have a valid certificate.
The following examniation are considered as per SERB notification. CSIR/UGC
National Entrance Test (NET) including LS, GATE, JAM, GPAT or CSIR/UGC
NET, Biotechnology eligibility test and test conducted by Bioinformatics National
consortium or ICMR-JRF or ICAR-AICE.
Research experience: Preferred.
Lab experience: Hands on training experience in DNA extraction and genotyping.
Duration of project: 3 years.
