A walk in interview will be held on 17/08/2017 at 11.00 am at the office of the IASST, Guwahati for a
position of Junior Research Fellow in a project “Application of Glycolipid Biosurfactant for General
Welfare of Economically Important Crops with special reference to Management of
Phytopathogenic Fungi” sponsored by DBT (Twinning) Govt. of India.
Applicants should have to apply
in prescribed application format as given below and self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates
should be submitted during the interview which will be held at Institute of Advanced Study in Science
and Technology, Paschim Boragaon, Garchuk, Guwahati-781035, Assam. The candidates should carry
along with them all the original certificates and documents while appearing in the interview. An advance

is three year.
Essential qualification: M. Sc. in Botany with special paper Microbiology/ Plant pathology
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000 + 20 % HRA per month for NET/ GATE qualified candidates.
Rs. 12,000+20% HRA per month for non- NET/ GATE qualified candidates
Age limit: Not more than 28 years.
