Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary positions of one Senior Research Fellow and one Technical Assistant in the DBT project entitled “Simple, quick and onsite diagnostic kit for pathogen detection in asymptomatic stage”, under the supervision of Dr. Gopaljee Jha, Scientist, NIPGR.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (one post): Emoluments as per DST/DBT norms & as sanctioned in the project.
Qualification: - Candidates having M.Sc./M.Tech degree with 60% marks in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics with at least two years post M.Sc./M.Tech research experience are eligible to apply. The Candidate having prior research experience in the plant microbe interactions/biotic stress related research or experience in functional genomics or nano-technology would be preferred.
Technical Assistant (TA) (one post): Consolidated Emoluments Rs. 12000/- per months.
Qualification: - Candidates having Graduate degree or equivalent are eligible to apply. The Candidate having working experience in plant tissue culture in molecular biology laboratory would be preferred.
The above positions are completely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be curtailed/extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidates. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
