1. “Influence of CTCF on chromatin organization relevant for regulation of TCRb locus” funded by DBT

Research Associate (One position only) 

Dr. Madhulika Srivastava Staff Scientist-VI madhu@nii.ac.in 

Educational Qualifications: Ph.D in any discipline of Biological Sciences. 

Emoluments: Rs. 36,000/- per month plus 30% HRA 

Job description & Desired Knowledge: The project involves analysis of RNA, gDNA and chromatin structure/organization in mice. The candidate must have an experience in molecular biology with special expertise in chromatin analysis. Additional experience in cell biology and bioinformatics will be useful.

1. “Analysis of crosstalk between gut microbiota and host factors in calibrating Iga responses” funded by SERB

Senior Research Fellow (Project) (One position only) 

Dr. Anna George Staff Scientist-VII anna@nii.ac.in 

Educational Qualifications: M.Sc in any branch of Biology/Life Sciences with minimum of two years of research experience. 

The candidates should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’, as per DST OM dated 21.10.2014. 

Emoluments: The selected candidates may be placed in any of the below categories depending upon qualification & experience: Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% HRA 

Job description & Desired Knowledge: The project is aimed at understanding interactions between the intestinal immune system and microbes that contribute to maintenance/disruption of immune homeostasis in the gut. Theoretical and practical experience in immunology and/or molecular biology is required.
