Applications are invited for the following position in a DST SERB (Govt. of India) sponsored research project entitled
"Production And Characterization Of Novel Exopolysaccharides (EPS) From Indigenous White Rot Fungi Of Foot Hill
Forests Of Shivalik Ranges Of Chandigarh Capital Region For Potential Industrial Applications" under the following
terms and conditions:
Position: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW - (One)
Stipend: Rs. 25000/- (Fixed) Per Month.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry with at least
55% marks (50% for Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category) with
CSIR/UGC-NET cleared in Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge and Practical hands in Mycotechniques & Experience of handling Higher
Fungal Cultures.
Terms & Conditions:
i) Upper age limit not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation up to 5 years for
SC/ST /PWD/OBC (Non-creamy layer applicants) and women candidates as per the Govt. of India
instructions.
ii) This position is purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the sponsored project.
iii) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
