Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following positions at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against Indo-UK DBT funded project entitled “Chicken or egg: Drivers of antimicrobial resistance in poultry in India”, PI: Dr. Nagendra R. Hegde, Scientist-G.
(i) One position of Research Associate
Fellowship amount: Rs.36000/-+30% HRA = 46,800/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Essential qualification: PhD in Life Sciences (incl. Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
Desirable experience: Real-time PCR, antimicrobial resistance markers, microbial genomics.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
(ii) One position of Senior Research Fellow
Fellowship amount: Rs.28000/-+30% HRA = 36,400/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Essential qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Etc.) or Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Tech in Life Sciences, M. VSc. etc.) with two years of research experience.
Desirable experience: Real-time PCR, antimicrobial resistance markers, microbial genomics.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
