Shiv Nadar University Molecular Biology SRF/JRF Openings


Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position in a research project funded by Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) under supervision of Dr. Ashish Gupta (PI) (Department of Life Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar University).
The project involves understanding modulation of chromatin remodeling complexes during viral infections. The work involves molecular & cell biology techniques including cloning, Western blotting, mammalian cell culture, transfection and microscopy.
Desirable Qualification:
  • M.Sc. in any branch of life sciences with excellent academic record.
  • Candidate must have qualified CSIR NET- LS, UGC-NET LS, GATE or any other national eligibility exam.
Fellowship: For JRF  25,000/- p.m+ 20 % HRA/ and for SRF  28,000/- p.m+ 20 % HRA (as per ICMR norms)
Duration: Initially for 1 year but extendable up to 2 more years based on performance and availability of funds.
