Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences (with specialization in Molecular Biology) with 4 years Bachelor’s degree.

(or)

Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Molecular biology/Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences (with specialization in molecular biology) with NET qualification* and 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average) with 3 years Bachelor’s degree.

(or)

Graduate with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and have acquired professional Master’s degree (3 years) like M.Sc. (Ag.) in relevant field as specified above.

(or)

Doctorate in Biotechnology/ Molecular biology/Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences (with specialization in molecular biology)

Desirable: Working Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques, viz., PCR, qPCR, RACE, gene cloning, transformation and various microbiological techniques. Working knowledge of computer and statistical analysis; as evidenced by engagement, training undergone, published work etc.

Age limit: 35 yrs. for men and 40 yrs for women.

Remuneration: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (as permissible) per month

Job: To provide support in research and any other duty assigned to him / her by the Project Coordinator.

Nature:

Contractual till March 2020 which is likely to be extended. Other benefits and conditions as per ICAR Guidelines

* NET examination means any national level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Departments/agencies

Terms and Conditions

 Candidates appearing for interview should bring two copies of their bio-data in the required format and original documents in support of their qualification, age, work experience, no objection Certificate from the employer in case of employed elsewhere etc. along with a set of photocopies of all the documents

 The appointment is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis; is co-terminus with the project and liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance.

 There is no provision of absorption / re-employment in ICAR / IINRG after termination of the time bound project.

 No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the interview and no separate letter for interview will be issued.

 Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.

 The decision of Director, IINRG, Ranchi would be final and binding on all aspects.
