Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post in the J C Bose Fellowship funded by the SERB, Department of Science and Technology.
Research Associate : Two
Salary: Rs. 47,000 plus HRA (as per rules)    
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences (degree awarded)    
Desirable qualification : Minimum one year post-Ph. D. research experience in disease biology, gene expression, and animal cell culture
The selected candidates will be appointed on purely temporary basis, for four months or till validity of the fellowship, whichever is earlier.

Applications invited for positions in ICAR-NASF Research Project
  Applications are invited for the position of a Senior Research Fellow (one position), Laboratory assistant (part time, one position) in the below-mentioned project/scheme. The positions are on contractual basis, which are co-terminus with the project/scheme. Initial appointment will be made for one year and extended further subject to the satisfactory performance. The eligible candidates are invited to apply as detailed below with copies of self-attested relevant documents in support of their qualification(s) and experience.
 The positions are in ICAR-NASF Research Project entitled: ‘Development of a rapid and robust high throughput reporter cell-based bioassay for detection of xenobiotics in milk’ under Prof. Rakesh K. Tyagi, Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, JNU, New Delhi-110067. Project duration is up to July, 2021.
  1. For Senior Research Fellow (one position): Rs. 25,000+HRA per month (unrevised).
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Biological Sciences with NET qualification and two years of research experience or MVSc in Animal Biochemistry, Animal Biotechnology, Pharmacology & Toxicology or Dairy Science or related areas. For further details refer to ICAR office memorandum Edn.6/27/2014-HRD 30th July. 2019.
Desirable experience: Good experience of mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, bioinformatics, fluorescence microscopy, methods related to biological extract preparation as relevant to the project.
  1. Laboratory Assistant (part time)* one position.
Essential Qualification: Class XII
Desirable experience: Should have good working knowledge of MS office, document filing and some skills/experience to assist in the laboratory work.
*A group interaction of candidates may be conducted for the selection.
