ADVERTISEMENT FOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA) POSITION
Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate (ONE) with a fellowship @ 47000+HRA
(as per GOI rules) in IOE sponsored Project (IOE Scheme No: 6031) titled “Bio-inspired green
nanotechnology for natural fluorescent phycobiliproteins (PBPs) based
nanomaterials/nanomedicines biosynthesis from the cyanobacteria and its application in the field
of biomedical sciences” sanctioned to Prof. Rajeshwar P. Sinha, Department of Botany, Institute of
Science, BHU, Varanasi. This post is purely temporary for a period of six months only.
Essential Qualifications: The candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in
Botany/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology.
Desirable Qualifications: Applicants having hands on working experience during Ph.D. in the area
of green nanotechnology with publications would be preferred.
Age: The upper age limit is 40 years (5 years relaxation for female/SC/ST/physically handicapped
candidates as per the GOI rules). The upper age limit will be counted on the last date of the
application submission.

educational qualifications (starting from High School with the, passing year, board or University,
subjects, and percentage of marks obtained), details of research publications, research experience (if
any) etc. along with attested copies of all mark-sheets and certificates should reach within 21 days

Note: No TA/DA will be paid, if called for interview. The interrogating in any form will be treated as
