Application are invited for the post of a Research Associate (RA-1) position in a research project funded by the DBT (Project DBT-20-0233), Govt. of India (Last date: July 7, 2022)
DBT- funded project titled "Transcript fates in Escherichia coli and other bacteria with respect to R-loops and to RNase E"
Number of Positions: 01
Duration: one year, and extendable thereafter.
The initial appointment will be for one year with a possible extension for the second year depending on the satisfactory performance by the candidate.
Essential qualifications/experience:
“Ph.D., or in its absence an MSc (First class) with at least five years’ post-MSc research experience. Experience in the techniques of bacterial genetics/genomics and molecular biology would be highly desirable.”
Emoluments: The emoluments would be determined as per DBT rules.
