JRF Positions 

Essential Qualification: M.Sc/M.Tech in Science/Nanoscience/Nanotechnology/ Electronics 

Desirable: Candidate should have sufficient experience with quality publications on biosensor 

Salary: Rs. 31,000/ month + 24 % HRA =Rs. 38,440/-.  The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year or till his/her services are required by the project Director or till Validity of the project, whichever is earliest.  The application indicating name, date of birth/ age, address, essential/technical/professional qualifications, experiences, research work, list of published books/articles should reach the Principal Investigator, Special Centre for Nanoscience, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067 on or before 5 July 2022.

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in an Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)) funded project entitled “Pharmacological and therapeutic potential of biofabricated BSA-Cordyceps - Chitosan Nanoparticles in In-vitro and In-vivo system” under the supervision of Dr. Ramovatar Meena, School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.  

Essential Qualification: The applicant must have M.Sc in Life Science/ Environmental Sciences/ Biotechnology/Bioinformatics with NET/GATE qualification.  

Desirable Qualification: Candidates having knowledge of Molecular biology, biotechnology, tissue culture are encouraged to apply.  

Fellowship/Salary: As per SERB, DST norms, fellowship is ₹31,000/- p.m. plus HRA as permissible.  Duration: The selected candidate will be appointed on a purely temporary basis initially for one year and renewable next year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum period of two years.  Interested candidates may apply and submit their complete application in the form of CV along with a cover letter and self-attested copies of the certificates and proof of research experience (if any).
