CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT PERSONNEL
The Wildlife Institute of India invites candidates for Walk-in (online) Interview for two post of
Project Associate-II on contractual basis for implementing the Project “Preparation of
mitigation plan for Jaisalmer to Myajlar road (NH-11)”.

The essential qualification, desirable qualification, emoluments, age, responsibilities and
other details of the position are as provided below:

Essential Qualification
(EQ)
Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/ Environmental Science/
Forestry/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity Conservation or Natural
Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent.
2 years of experience in relevant field
Desirable Qualification
(DQ)
Candidate should have prior experience in working on EIA studies, vehicle surveys, camera trapping, quantitative analysis,
RS & GIS skills and writing technical project reports
Duties and
Responsibilities
Demonstrated experience of >3 year in field ecology &
conservation research,
a) experience of EIA projects, vehicle
surveys, or
b) command on statistical analysis, RS / GIS &
publication, camera trapping
The selected candidates will carry out field investigations on
the assessment of wildlife values; Field Data collection, Data
analysis, prepare reports and relevant deliverables
Other additional tasks
Duration Seven months
Age Not more than 35 years on the last date of Application
Emoluments Rs. 35,000 + 16% HRA on contractual basis for implementing the Project “Preparation of
mitigation plan for Jaisalmer to Myajlar road (NH-11)”.
