Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow

Title of the project: ARTSENS® Age A multimodal method & system for reliable assessment of vascular ageing associated early health markers in routine clinical practice for early screening & timely intervention 

[Brief Summary: The project is a collaborative venture with the department of electrical engineering and the Healthcare Technology Innovation center, IIT-Madras. The JRF joining in the post advertised will work primarily at AIIMS, Delhi to conduct serial measurements of physiological markers of vascular ageing in patients with coronary artery disease using a novel technology. The project will offer interdisciplinary exposure to innovation, clinical verification, and validation.] 

Name of the funding agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) 

Prescribed/requisite qualification: M.Sc. Physiology, MD Physiology, M.Sc. Life Sciences/Zoology, M.Sc. Nursing, M.Tech, M.Pharm. 

Applicants should be either NET/GATE qualified or selected through one of the national level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies or institutions as mentioned in the office memorandum – SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019. 


Salary structure: Rs. 31,000 per month + House Rent Allowance 

Age limit: 30 years (5-year age relaxation to SC/ST candidates and 3-year relaxation to OBC candidates as officially admissible) 

Tenure of the contract appointment: 18 months
