BHU Varanasi Pathophysiology SRF Vacancy

Applications are invited for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) with a fellowship (Fixed amount of Rs. 35, 000 per month PLUS 16% HRA) in a sanctioned research project (ICMR, New Delhi) entitled “Robust Animal model studies for understanding the mechanism and pathophysiology of VTE”. The post is purely temporary and co-terminous with the project. The duration of the project will be maximum for three years. 

Essential Qualification: The Candidate should be M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular & Human Genetics/Zoology/Animal Science/Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks, two years of research experience and must have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent examination. 

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having experience with the laboratory animals would be preferred. 

Age Limit: The Upper age limit is 32 (thirty-two) years. 


Age limit is relaxable for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ Physically Handicapped/Female Candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
