We are happy to announce the hosting of a National Webinar on "Emerging Biotechnological Interventions in Municipal and Industrial Solid Waste Management (EBIMISM-22)" by the Department of Biotechnology, School of Bioengineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur-603 203 in association with “Tamil Nadu Integrated Waste Management Association (TIWM)”, during November 14-15, 2022 in the online platform.
In recent years, the Indian government convened many initiatives to focus on the “Clean India” mission. The two days National Webinar on "Emerging Biotechnological Interventions in Municipal and Industrial Solid Waste Management-EBIMISM-22" will facilitate these initiatives to the participants by channeling Practicing consultants, Field level experts, technology providers from research & educational institutions, and policymakers in Municipal and Industrial Solid Waste management domain under one platform to discuss the confronting challenges, cost-effective solutions through the latest biotechnological developments and paradigm shift technologies to combat the challenges bound with Solid Waste Management and also comprehending the imminent of biotechnology for Municipal and Industrial Solid Wastes Management. Moreover, the two days National Webinar aims to forecast the complexities & management issues in the solid waste treatment confronted by Municipalities & Industries and discuss emerging biotechnological innovations & the benefits that reinforce maximizing the resources for value addition.
