Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the
Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal funded
project entitled High intensity exercise induced alteration in haematological, oxidative
stress and muscle damage parameters in male and female athletes [Memo No.:
706/(Sanc.)/ST/P/S&T/2G-11/2020; File No.: ST/P/S&T/2G-11/2020]
Duration of Fellowship: 03 years [First two years as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and in
the third year as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) subject to evaluation of satisfactory
performance as JRF] or termination of the Project, whichever is earlier (subject to the
availability of funds).

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview, the date and time of which will
be communicated directly to the candidate through email. The selected candidate has to join
the post immediately after the selection process. The remuneration will be consistent with
the rules and regulations of Science & Technology and Biotechnology Department,
Govt. of West Bengal.
Eligibility and Qualifications Required: M.Sc. in Physiology / any branch of Life Sciences
with at least 55% of marks.
Candidates with hands on experience in working on human
subjects in the field of Sports and Exercise Physiology will be preferred.
