Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications from young and meritorious
Indian nationals, who desire to pursue defence related research as Research Associate (RA) & Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) in following subjects:
1. DRDO Research Associate (RA):
Essential Qualification
PhD* in Life Sciences
Desirable Qualification:
Candidate with following research experience will be
given preference:
1. Proficient in Neurobiology or Behavioral
Neuroscience
2. Experience of experimental animals handling and
biofluid withdrawal
3. Rodent survival surgery, stereotactic intracranial
electrode implantation, biopotential recording and
analysis
4. Proven experience in Rodent Brain Histology,
stereological analysis and Immunohistochemistry
5. Mice Behavioral analysis and knowledge of
biostatistics.

2. DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):
Essential Qualification First Class M.Sc. with NET (JRF/LS) in Life Science/
Biotechnology/ Biomedical Sciences
Or
First Class B.Tech with valid GATE score in Life
Science/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical Sciences
Or
M.E./M.Tech in Life Science/Biotechnology/
Biomedical Sciences in First Class at Graduate and
Post Graduate level (M.E./ M.Tech. is exempted from
NET/GATE as per guidelines.)
