Project Title: Understanding hyperglycemia induced metabolic alterations in pancreatic cancer cells and its regulation by specific long non coding RNAs
Investigators: Dr. Rajdeep Chowdhury (Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan), Dr. Shilpak Chatterjee (IICB, Kolkata, India)
Project Tenure: 3 years
Job Description: The candidate will study the effect of hyperglycemic conditions on long non-coding RNAs in pancreatic cancer cells. He/she will also have to write research papers in indexed journals, conferences, and patents.
Essential Qualification: First class in Master's Degree with specialization in Biological Sciences/Biomedical Sciences/Biotechnology or Allied stream from a recognized University with good knowledge in cancer biology and handling in vitro culture would be preferred.
GATE/NET/GPAT/DST/DBT/ICMR qualified will be preferred.
Fellowship: As per SERB, Govt of India norms.
Registration for PhD: Selected candidates will be given the opportunity for a full-time Ph.D. program at BITS, Pilani as per the institute norms.
