CSMRI Marine Biology Project Scientist/Associate Openings

           

Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned Grant-in-Aid and industry sponsored projects in the area of environmental monitoring & impact assessment. The number of positions are tentative and may vary at the time of interview.
Project Scientist-I: 02 Posts
Essential Qualification	:	Ph.D. Marine Biology/ Marine Science/ Oceanography/ Organic Chemistry  or M.E/ M. Tech in the area of Ocean Engineering, Ocean Modelling and other marine related study
Desirable	:	Experience in simulation, marine dispersion modelling and marine ecology, Analysis of organic pollutants from environmental samples/effluents
Monthly remuneration	:	56,000/- + HRA
Age limit	:	35 years*
Project Associate-I: 01 Posts
Essential Qualification	:	M.Sc. Environmental Science/ Botany/Zoology/ Medical  Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry (or) B.E. Biotechnology
Desirable	:	Experience in analysing water/wastewater, marine ecological parameters, environmental impact assessment study, ecological modelling and knowledge in ISO 17025: 2017 standards. As a part of the project, extensive fieldwork may be required.
Monthly remuneration	:	₹31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (OR) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above
Age limit	:	35 years*

*Relaxation in age as per norms
