Hiring for A Research Associate/Assistant

EXOCAN HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGIES aka EXOCAN is hiring a Research Associate to work in the highly rewarding field of exosome biology. The project is a joint research collaboration between EXOCAN and a Govt Institute of national repute.EXOCAN is India’s first exosome company with multiple patents on exosome enrichment technology and our workflow is world’s fastest and most efficient. EXOCAN also hold India’s first US patent on exosomes. The primary goal of the company is to develop liquid biopsy tests for precision medicine in cancer and drug delivery technologies based on exosomes. We are looking for a skilled person in molecular biology to join our team to work on this challenging project. The candidate will work independently, and directly report to higher management at EXOCAN.

Duration- 2 years (DIRECT APPOINTMENT)

Responsibilities

·        Molecular cloning based R&D work to advance our existing pipeline

·        Generating vectors, cloning, expression, and validation

·        Production of engineered exosomes, their enrichment from cell derived media, purification, and characterization using a variety of biophysical and molecular tools including western blotting, electron microscopy, and cell uptake assays

·        Data collection, analysis and reports preparation

Required educational qualifications and skills

·        PhD/PostDoc with relevant expertise in the subject

·        Minimum Two years of core expertise in molecular biology including plasmid vector designing, gene cloning, amplification from construct, QC/validation by PCR, and transfection in mammalian cells.

·        Expert in western blotting, PCR, and cell culture techniques

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Ability to work flexible, site of work will be EXOCAN’sR&D facility in Pune, India

Compensation

·        The project duration is 2 years with the possibility of a job offer at EXOCAN based on performance

·        Salary: 60,000/PM consolidated

·        Stock options offering (ESOP) based on performanceevaluation of the candidate

·        Inventor ship/authorship in publications and patents
