Special Call: PhD Admissions for Batch starting Jan 01, 2024

IISER Pune announces a 'Special Call' for the IISER PhD Program. The call is specifically for students who have qualified for CSIR/UGC-NET JRF 'Junior Research Fellowships' as per CSIR notification results released on July 27, 2023 and DBT JRF results released on June 21, 2023 

The ‘Special call’ is for IISER Pune Departments given in the pdf (with email IDs listed for communication). All applicants also must satisfy the marks criteria listed (common point #1 in the pdf) in addition to department-specific requirements.

How to Apply: Through given email IDs for all departments and through form for the Biology department. PDF link below has email IDs and link to form for Biology

Deadline of Application: August 17 (2023)

Date(s) of Interview: August 18, 19, 21, 22 (2023) (Department specific)

Time: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (Specific date/time would be communicated to shortlisted

candidates via email)

Mode of Interview: Online (May be followed by additional rounds of interviews in

person - this is Department specific)
