A walk-in interview will be held for selection of three (03) posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
under the DBT funded research project titled "APS05021EF: Studies on population diversity and
role of host plant volatile cues for enhancing egg laying in Temperate Tasar (Vanya) silk moths
Antheraea proylei (BT/PR41741/NER/95/1775/2021, dated 01.10.2021)". The candidates will be
selected based on their qualifications, experiences and performances in the personal interview.
The posts are purely on temporary basis for the project period only (for three months only).
Interested candidates may attend the Walk-in-interview to be held at this institute on 15.07.2025
(Tuesday) from 10.00 am onwards.
Position
Junior Research Project (JRF)
03 (Three)
(One for CSB-CMER&TI, Lahdoigarh, Jorhat Assam and
Two for CSB-Regional Sericultural Research Station,
Mantrupukhuri, Imphal, Manipur.
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post
Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a
process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests -
CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant
Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations
conducted by Central Government Departments and their
Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,
DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER etc.
Candidates having specialization / working experience on
Sericulture, Rearing & Grainage or relevant field will be preferred.
35 years (as on 1st July 2025).
i. Rs.21,000.00 for candidates without NET/GATE + admissible
HRA
Rs.37,000.00 for candidates with NET/GATE + admissible
HRA
ii.
The upper age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged
candidates as per rules.
Candidates must produce the original documents (mark sheets,
certificates, publication etc) at the time of document verification / interview. No TA/DA will be paid
