Applications from Indian nationals are invited for temporary engagement under the
following project. Engagement shall be purely on contractual basis.
Title of the Project Exploration, conservation and characterization of Wild Brassica
species for the development of genetic and genomic resources
to uncover climate resilient traits through integrated
approaches
Funding Agency Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change
Duration of the Project Till 25th May 2027 from the date of appointment or termination
of project, whichever is earlier.
Post Junior Research Fellow
Emoluments Fixed per
month(Rs.)
Rs. 37000/- + HRA (for first two years)
Essential Qualifications Post graduate degree in Plant
Breeding/Genetics/Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/Life Science
or relevant subjects with four years Bachelors’ degree
1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility
Test CSIR, UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant
professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through national level exam
conducted by Central government departments and
their agencies and institute such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,
DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualifications Relevant experience in taxonomy/ plants identification/ plant
tissue culture/ molecular biology/ bioinformatics tools and
techniques to handle the genomic data
