Application are invited for the recruitment of one (01) Project Associate-II under the DBT funded project
entitled “Germplasm characterization and trait discovery in wheat using genomics approaches and its
integration for improving climate resilience, productivity and nutritional quality (Sub project 2:
Characterization and evaluation of wheat germplasm for biotic stress resistance) in Division of Plant
Pathology, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi – 110012. The positions are purely
temporary, on a contractual basis.

Essential:
Master’s degree in Plant Pathology /
Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology or
Post graduate degree in basic sciences
(botany and allied sciences from a
recognized university/institute or
equivalent
(ii) Two years of experience in research
and development in industrial and
academic institutions or science and
technology organisations and scientific
activities and services
Desirable:
Research experience in wheat diseases and
molecular techniques
(10 years).
Age for other eligible categories shall be applicable as per GOI/ICAR rules.
