DST project “Isolation, Identification and Characterization of Promoter Region of Phosphate Transporter (PiPT) Gene from Root Endophyte Fungus Piriformospora indica” in collaboration with Dr. Narendra Tuteja as Co-PI, Plant Molecular Biology Group, ICGEB, New Delhi.
Essential Qualification for JRF: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/Life Science/Microbiology (Work experience in fungal biology is desirable).
Duration of the project: Three years. Initially, the appointment will be done for one year and may be extended up to a total of three years upon satisfactory progress.

Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Biological Sciences
Desired: (a) Experience in handling of and experimentation with mammalian cell culture. (b) Knowledge about cell signaling and cell cycle progression in cancer cells.
