Essential qualification:
1. 1st class in M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Physiology.
2. Minimum 2 years research experience in clinical research laboratory.
3. Capable of animal tissue culture, Mycobacterium culture in specialized and non-specialized media.

Walk-in-interview for SRF
A walk-in-interview will be held on 31 March 2009. at 11.30 a.m. in the Dept of Microbiology, I.P.G.M.E.R. (5th Floor, UCM Building), 244 A.J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata 700 020 for one post of SRF for the DAE funded project entitled ‘Signal transduction mechanism during host–pathogen interaction: Special emphasis on the change in Th1-Th2 cytokine response in macrophages from different age groups infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis’. The fellowship of 14,000 p.m. + HRA will be
given and the post is purely temporary for 1 year and may be extended upto 3 years.
Essential qualification:
1. 1st class in M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Physiology.
2. Minimum 2 years research experience in clinical research laboratory.
3. Capable of animal tissue culture, Mycobacterium culture in specialized and non-specialized media.
Age: Not more than 35 years (relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, Women candidates).
