Applications are invited for the following posts from bright and eligible Indian Nationals with excellent academic record, a high degree of motivation and desire to take up research in Earth Science as a career:
Scientist Gr.IV(1): 01 Post
Pay Band-3/Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-
Upper Age Limit: Should not exceed 35 years as on the last date for receipt of filled in applications.
Discipline : Microbiology
Essential Qualifications: First Class M.Sc. in Microbiology
Desirable: Ph.D and/or research experience relating to Hydrocarbon Exploration.
Job Requirements: To participate in the application of Microbial Techniques for Hydrocarbon exploration-related research. A proven track record of carrying out research as demonstrated by publication of research papers in high impact factor SCI journals.
Application duly filled in and duly supported by attested copies of all relevant certificates including Community Certificate (in the case of SC/ST/OBCs candidates), certificate of physically handicapped issued by the competent authority ( in case of PH candidates), passport size photograph of the individual along with a non-refundable application fee of Rs.100/- ( Rupees one hundred only ) in the form of D.D. drawn in favour of Director, National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad, valid at least for 5 months, should be sent so as to reach the Controller of Administration on or before 05th December 2009.
