Essential Qualification

PhD in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Plant Physiology having work experience in a. Molecular techniques for variety characterization and genetic purity testing or b. Molecular diagnostic techniques in detection of plant pathogens or c. Detection and purity testing of GM crop varieties.

Desirable : Knowledge of Bioinformatics/computer applications
