A walk-in-Interview will be held on 09.02.2010 at 12.00 noon in the Seminar Room of P.M.C.G. Section at the Centenary Campus of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme, VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata-700 054 for three posts of Research Associate and one post of Jr. Field Assistant, as under on an Associateship of Rs.16,000/-p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. for R.A. and on a consolidated pay of Rs.7,000/-p.m. for Jr. Field Asstt., in the projects mentioned against each, under the guidance of Dr. Debabrata Basu, Department of Botany (for A) and Prof. Sampa Das, P.M.C.G. Section (for B, C & D). The post is purely temporary one and co-terminus with the project.

A) One post of Research Associate
in the DBT under Programme Support Project No.2 entitled, “Identification of the genes from Sinapis alba, involved with resistance against Alternaria brassicicola through proteomic approach”. Tenable upto December, 2011.
B) One post of Research Associate
in the DBT/ISCB sponsored project entitled, “Evaluation of ASAL expressing chickpea transgenic plants fo the inheritance of aphid resistance”. Tenure for 02 (two) years.
C) One post of Research Associate
in the DBT under Programme Support Project No.1 entitled, “Selectable marker free, insect resistant plant development and investigation of molecular interaction between expressed lectin and receptor proteins isolated from target insects”.
Tenable upto December, 2011.
(A), (B) & (C) Essential Qualification (For RA) : Ph.D in Life Sciences with research experience in related discipline.
Age : Below 35 years for RA (relaxable in the both cases of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates).
