ICMR sponsored project entitled, “Centre for Advanced Research in DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics of Medicinal Potential in Plants from Eastern and North Eastern India” under the guidance of Prof. Swati Sen Mandi, Division of Plant Biology.
Project is tenable upto 30th April 2013 and all the positions are co-terminus with the project.
1. Position : Research Associate – 02 (two)
Essential Qualification : PhD in subjects related to Plant Molecular Biology / Plant Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Plant Science.Associateship : Rs. 17,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA
Age : Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
2. Position : Project Fellow – 03 (three)
Essential Qualification : MSc in Plant Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Plant Science / BioinformaticsFellowship : Rs. 10,000/- p.m.(fixed)Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Walk-in-Interview will be held on 3rd June 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room at the Main Campus of Bose Institute, 93/1, A. P. C. Road, Kolkata- 700 009.
Eligible and interested candidates are requested to appear in person directly before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Registrar, Bose Institute, 93/1, A. P. C. Road, Kolkata- 700 009 along with bio-data, attested copies of Certificates, Marksheets and Testimonials. The candidates should also bring the original mark-sheets, certificates etc. at the time of interview.
